THE NOOK CO-WORKING COLLECTIVE

The Nook is a positive space for founders who are actively building a business and engaged in their own personal growth. We value integrity, mutual respect, empathy and positivity. To ensure this space remains nurturing and empowering for all involved, we have a few guiding principles:

Kindness First: 

Speak and act with kindness. Listen actively, avoid interrupting, and give others the chance to share.

 

Respect The Energy Of The Group:

Consider how your words and energy may impact others. Bring curiosity, openness, and a willingness to grow and help others.

Stay Solution-Oriented:

Share with the intent to move forward, grow, and seek solutions. Where people ask for help, please consider if you have any advice or resources that would support them. ​​​​

No Pitching or Selling:

The Nook is a safe space for connection, not promotion. There will naturally be invitations to share your offers, but please respect the spirit of this community by avoiding self-promotion or pitching unless invited.

Cameras On:

Your energy adds to the room. In the group huddles please turn your camera on when possible to be present, and always have your camera on if you choose to add to the conversation. Cameras can of course be on or off during focus work sprints.

Support, Don’t Overload:

Sharing challenges is welcome, but this is not a space for emotional offloading onto others. Respect the group’s purpose and the boundaries of others.

Celebrate others’ wins, encourage their efforts, and contribute to the positive energy that makes our community special.
